I am running the Covered Bridges Half Marathon this June! I haven't run this event in 15 years, but I am lacing up and training to hit those 13.1 miles once again to raise funds for The Family Place. I've already logged over two-hundred training miles so far with several more weeks of training to go. The Family Place is one one of Vermont's fifteen Parent/Child Centers offering programs and services to help strengthen positive relationships, teach essential skills and promote enduring healthy growth for families with young children. This is an organization that is dear to my heart as it seeks to give all Vermont children a fair chance in life. I hope you can support me as I run for Team Family Place this year!

We are a team of runners supporting The Family Place in its 37th year of providing education, support and services to Upper Valley children and families.

Our team members have committed to raising at least $500 each by running in the Covered Bridges Half Marathon on Sunday, June 4, 2023!. Money from fundraisers for the Covered Bridges Half Marathon is vital to The Family Place because it isn't earmarked for any specific program; instead, it can be applied to wherever the need is greatest in our organization. It's only with the support of our generous community that we can provide continuous, comprehensive services and support to all families with young children.
