Hello friends, family, and all, 

I have decided to run the Covered Bridges Half marathon on June 2nd to fundraise to support The Family Place. The Family Place is one of 15 parent child centers in the state of Vermont, all of which provide vital support for children and their families. They work with children and caregivers to encourage healthy child growth and development and ultimately increase safety for our Vermont youth. From financial support for childcare, diaper banks, food pantries, developmental screenings, parent education, early intervention services, visiting nurse services, parent support and groups, play groups....the list continues, Services provided by The Family Place increase the protective factors of our children thus providing a wholistic approach to child wellbeing and safety.

My goal is to raise at least $500 which will directly go to The Family Place. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.
