Hello friends and family! On June 2, 2019, I am registered to run my first half marathon (yes, 13.1 miles!!) as part of a team supporting The Family Place, an organization in its 33rd year providing education, support and services to children and families in Vermont’s Upper Valley. Team members have committed to raising at least $500 each by running the Covered Bridges Half Marathon. I have chosen to partner with The Family Place as I tackle my first Half because I believe that their approach to whole family wellness contributes greatly to the health and well being of the children and parents that they serve. They promote positive parenting and experiences that support the physical development, social function and long term health of children and families. The money raised is not earmarked for certain programs but can be used wherever most needed.

Running has been life changing for me in many ways. With your help, I am looking forward to completing this challenge and making a donation that can foster growth, change and hope in the lives of the families served by this organization. Thank you for all of your love and support as I conqueror this next step in my journey!
